Battlefield Premium Fact Sheet

EA has confirmed (via Twitter) the existence Battlefield Premium, a service which will give players access to Battlefield 3 DLC, weapons, skins, dog tags, and more. The service will retail at $50, which will be a one time fee. Battlefield Premium will include all of the released and upcoming DLC, including:

  • Back To Karkand
  • Close Quarters
  • Armored Kill
  • Aftermath
  • End Game

In addition to the DLC, Battlefield Premium for Battlefield 3 includes the following features:

  • 20 maps
  • 20 new weapons
  • 10+ new vehicles
  • 4 new game modes
  • 30+ assignments
  • Two weeks early access to DLC
  • Unique in-game knife, dog tags, and camos
  • Unique weapon camos
  • Stats reset feature
  • Save up to five Battlelog reports
  • 5+ unique assignments
  • Exclusive double XP weekends
  • Exclusive videos and strategy guides

  • Uh oh… 50$ for more of the same only (not for an entirely new game), is a lot.

  • It also blows that all of the present and future DLC will be included..so like basically we’d be buying Back to Karkand TWICE…more like back to ‘Argh’-land if you ask me….ok that was bad, but I couldn’t stop myself.

  • They didn’t exactly hit the bullseye with BFBC 2: Vietnam. I guess the BF people at EA can’t make a decent DLC for their franchise.

  • Well, IMHO, B2K was a great concept. ‘Oh, you’re bored with the maps we gave you in BF3, here, play some of the maps you got bored with 4 years ago..but FORGOT that you were bored with them.” It’s like going to a high school reunion and making out with the prom queen from back in the day. It’s not the same, but it’s somehow eerily familiar.

    $50!!! No, I’m not getting that. Too rich for my blood, but I will buy some parts if you can buy them individually.
