Black Mesa brings back your Half-Life memories

The ambitious modding team behind Black Mesa has finally (after 8 years of development) released their long awaited child. Kudos!

The aim of this total conversion was very something seriously epic – to re-create (with all the details) the game that for many people out there has been one of the best titles in the history of video games – Half-Life – using Valve’s Source Engine.  And the talented developers made it happen! The team behind Black Mesa kept to their promise and delivered a much refreshed version of Half-Life using all capabilities of the Source Engine, and equipped with new models, textures and custom voiceover work.

What’s the best thing about it? Well, Black Mesa is totally free and does not require the original HL nor HL2 game in order to be able to run it! You can get the game from it’s official website along with full soudtrack to it: www.BlackMesa.com. The XP4T team strongly encourage you to do that and bring back those awesome HL memories you surely have!
