Steam’s Big Picture

Steam’s Big Picture is a television interface, which allows you to bring your social profile and library of steam games with you to the ol’ boob tube.  It comes with an integrated web browser which you can optimize for game pad controllers or the traditional mouse and keyboard.

This is a bold move for steam, but not an unexpected one.  It’s been no secret that Gabe Newell from steam has given consoles an expiration date.

What do you think? Is this the official “death of the console”?

Interested in taking Steam’s Big Picture out for a test drive? Well you can! You need to opt into the Steam Beta Update in order to be able to get your hands on Big Picture.
