Week in Review (2015/Week 04)

16 years later: The Bard’s Tale IV announced Probably the biggest news of last week was the announcement that came on Saturday from inXile‘s CEO Brian Fargo. Ladies and gentlemen, the development of a new Bard’s Tale game is now a fact! Although information on the game so far is rather vague, Fargo confirmed that a Kickstarter campaign would launch soon to allow people to back the project, as happened with inXile’s Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenara. One of them, going by the code name Adventure Y, will be an RPG set in Faerûn and will tell a story set between Baldur’s Gate I and II, using the classic Infinity Engine. The other game looks to be a product in a different genre than role [...]

Elder Scrolls Online Teaser

Elder Scrolls Online Teaser

The soon to be released MMORPG, Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) is set in Tamriel’s Second Era, roughly 1,000 years before the events in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the coming of the Dragonborn, and just before the rise of Tiber Septim, the first Emperor of Tamriel. Players can choose to join together in small adventure groups or large communities such as guilds. As part of a group you can work together to solve quests, head into epic battles or fight for the throne of Tamriel. Multiplayer is an important part of our player versus player (PvP) option as well. The Elder Scrolls Online contains a [...]
